CWD announces the opening of its new Private Crime department, focusing on “white collar” crime in the Square Mile and financial regulatory work
CWD is delighted to announce the opening of its new Private Crime department, focusing on “white collar” crime in the Square Mile and financial regulatory work. The department will be led by Steve Foster who, although new to CWD, has been in the industry for 30 years.
The department will be based in the firm’s new London office at Cannon Street. The addition of the new department continues the firm’s commitment to dispute resolution and supplements the work it already conducts from its Buckinghamshire office.
Steve brings with him a wealth of experience in defending those investigated and prosecuted for the most serious offences, many of which have attracted national and international media coverage. As well as prosecutions brought by The Crown Prosecution Service, he also has vast experience in cases brought by the Serious Fraud Office, HMRC and the Health & Safety Executive.
With Steve’s expertise, the firm will be in a position to take on a multitude of criminal cases ranging from armed robbery to multi-million pound fraud investigations involving City financial institutions.
